After her marriage to Lord Shiva, the Goddess came to be known as Maa Chandraghant. She is known as the establisher of discipline and justice. Her ride is a lion who has a gold-like, bright body.
Maa Chandraghanta is a deity with three eyes and ten hands. In her ten hands, she holds a lotus flower, kamandal, Japa mala, trishul, sword, gada, arrow and bow. She is the one in charge of Lord Surya and even governs the Manipura Chakra.
