Saturday, May 4 - Varuthini Ekadashi
Varuthini Ekadashi is celebrated on the Ekadashi Tithi of the Krishna Paksha in the month of Vaishakh. The devotees worship Lord Vishnu on this day and observe a fast. You should only have one meal on this day and that too in bronze utensils preferably. Also, you should avoid eating food fried in oil, or food made from any kind of grain, honey, gram and pulses.
The Shubh Muhurat for Puja on this day will start at 05:36 am on May 4, and end at 08:17 am on May 5.
Wednesday, May 8 - Vaishakh Amavasya
In the Hindu religion, there is great importance of the month of Vaishakh as it is believed that the Treta Yuga started this month. Also, Shani Jayanti is observed on the day of Vaishakh Amavasya. The devotees worship Lord Shani, observe fast, and perform Path, etc. It is said that you can also get rid of Kaal Sarp Dosh by doing its remedies on this day.
The Shubh Muhurat to perform puja on this day will begin at 11:43 am on May 7, and end at 08:53 am on May 8.
