Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 10 Winner: Gunjan Sinha-Tejas Verma Take Home The Trophy

Gunjan Sinha received a trophy and Rs 30 lakh cash as a prize from Colors.

Gunjan Sinha along with choreographer Tejas Verma took home the winner’s trophy of one of the biggest dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 10 on Sunday, November 27. Sinha received a trophy and Rs 30 lakh cash as a prize from the show.

The eight-year-old dancer was the youngest contestant on the show. She competed with actor and dancer Faisal Shaikh and television actor Rubina Dilaik at the grand finale of the show after actors Gashmeer Mahajani, and Sriti Jha and choreographer and dancer Nishant Bhat were evicted from the top six. Other contestants of the Colors’ show including Anupamaa fame Paras Kalnawat, television actors Ali Asgar, Amrutha Khanvilkar, Shilpa Shinde, Dheeraj Dhoopar, Ada Malik, Nia Sharma, and Niti Taylor, restauranter Zorawar Kalra, and national athlete Dutee Chand.

Hailing from Assam, Sinha first appeared in the popular dance reality show Dance Deewane 3 that aired on Colors in February 2021. She also appeared in a Hindi music video Kaali Shirt Waleyaa by Simran Raj that released this year.

Produced by BBC Worldwide Productions Company, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa is the Indian version of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing with the Stars. The show pairs celebrities with professional dancers and choreographers who compete against each other for judges’ points and audiences’ votes. The 10th season of the show this year was hosted by actor and anchor Manish Paul and was judged by filmmaker Karan Johar, actor and dancers Madhuri Dixit and Nora Fatehi and choreographer Terence Lewis. The show premiered on Colors on September 2 this year.
