Independence Day 2026: Easy Drawing Ideas For Class 3 And 5 Kids For School Competition

1. Handprint art:

This is the easiest one tp create if you are in a hurry. Paint one palm with orange paint and the other with green. Place both the palms on the opposite direction on a white sheet. Add the Ashok Chakra by using a blue marker, followed by making stem like structure to give the illusion of a flower. Write 'Happy Independence Day 2026' to finish the drawing.

2. Indian Flag with fighter plane

 To create this, draw the Indian flag with a pole on the left side on the sheet. Then, draw a fighter plane with a tricolour smoke trail in the sky. Colour the rest of the page with light blue.

3. Flag Hoisting

To recreate this art, create a background first. Add white clouds with green fields and a bright sun. Draw the Indian flag in the front and colour the rest of the background with blue. Use oil pastel colours to create this drawing.

For Class 5, we have selected a few upgraded versions of the art to create on Independence Day 2026, while also not over complicating the process.

1. Nature Painting With Tricolour 

Use water or poster colour to recreate this. Paint the upper half of the A4 sheet with orange colour and the lower half of the sheet with green colour. Do not forget to add the fading or ombre effect. Paint Indian flag over it and then draw the leaves and grass with sketch pen. 

2. Unity In Diversity
