From July 3, 2024, onwards, India’s major mobile network operators, Bharti Airtel, Vodafone, and Reliance Jio, have declared huge mobile recharge tariff hikes. These three private telecom providers have made an increase of 10 to 27 per cent in their prepaid and postpaid mobile recharge plans. Consumers nationwide have expressed backlash against this decision.
