A small exercise that you must do before calling movers and packers is narrowing down the items that you would be moving. You should prepare a list of items that you would like to throw away or donate to the needy.

There is no need to spend money on packing things. In most cases, movers and packers provide you with reusable polythene bags to store clothes and accessories. They also give you brown cartons that you can use to throw in books, kitchen items, show pieces, vases, bathroom items, etc.

You should not go out spending money on these things, especially cartons. You can also ask supermarket stores nearby for spare and discarded boxes that you can use. If you already arranged things at home in plastic containers, you can carry them as it is to the new house.
