Step 2: Soil Mixing

Take a container and or a pot where you want to plant your seeds and fill it with soil. Make sure to choose a large container to grow a banana plant that has a free-draining feature. Now sow the banana seeds ¼ inches deep and then backfill the pot with compost. Make sure the soil contains enough nutrients and good-quality compost.

Step 3: Watering And Germination

Water the seeds until the soil gets moist and try to maintain the damp conditions as it is important to grow healthy banana plants. The seeds take time to germinate. However, the time duration depends on the banana variety. It can take around 2-3 weeks to 2-3 months to germinate.
