There is a direct association between chronic sleep deprivation and mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, burnout, ADHD, etc.” Cortisol levels rise with inadequate sleep, and the body shifts into “fight-or-flight” mode. This imbalance makes an individual more vulnerable to mental health conditions. On the other hand, practice if consistent sleep makes an individual emotionally resilient, with better problem-solving capacity and better psychological well-being.
