For those purchasing jewelry, 22-carat gold, valued for its durability due to its alloy mix, was priced at Rs 72,000 per 10 grams. Silver also saw a decrease of Rs 100, bringing it down to Rs 95,800 per kilogramme.

Despite this decrease, spot market values for gold are still significantly higher than at the year's start.
