- October 31, 2024 (Thursday): On this date, banks will be closed for Diwali, Deepawali, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birthday, Naraka Chaturdashi, and Kali Puja in states including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Assam, Bhubaneswar, Gujarat, Kolkata, Delhi, Karnataka, Puducherry, Kerala, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh, among others, according to the RBI website.
- November 1, 2024 (Friday): On this date, banks will be closed for Diwali, the Kut Festival, and Kannada Rajyotsava in several states, including Meghalaya, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Manipur, Jammu & Kashmir, Sikkim, Karnataka, and Tripura, among others.
- November 2, 2024 (Saturday): Govardhan Puja will be celebrated on November 2, 2024, and banks will be closed in states like Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, according to Live Mint report. This day also falls on the first Saturday of the month, which typically isn't a holiday.
- November 3, 2024 (Sunday): Banks will universally close on Sunday (Bhai Dooj) across all states.
