Chartered Accountant’s Day 2025: Every year on 1st July, Chartered Accountants Day is celebrated to recognise the incredible work and contribution of Chartered Accountants (CAs) across the country. Chartered Accountant’s Day 2025 Date 

Chartered Accountants Day in India falls each year on 1 July, and 2025 marks the 77th anniversary of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), established under the Chartered Accountants Act on July 1, 1949.

Chartered Accountant’s Day History 

Before 1949, accountancy in India was largely unregulated, with British‐era diploma programmes and loose standards. A parliamentary act changed that, creating the ICAI on 1 July 1949. Chartered Accountants Day celebrates not only ICAI's birth but the start of a profession upholding ethics, rigour, and stewardship in business.
