Budget 2024 Highlights For Households And Nari Shakti

• The households can now avail up to ₹15000-18000 by installing rooftop solar panels as per the latest scheme launched by PM Modi. According to the anticipations, 1 Cr households will be enabled to access 300 units per month for free.

• Steel, Cement and Building materials are likely to be provided for deserving sections of the middle class living in rented houses or slums or chawls and unauthorised colonies to buy or build their own houses. For this, a scheme will be launched by the government soon.
• The recently introduced Mahila Samman Savings Certificate allows savings of up to ₹2 Lakhs for 2 years.
• The Government will be providing raw materials and marketing for products to rural women mobilised into 81 Lakh self-help groups (SHGs).

• As the Finance Minister stated, the government has assisted nearly one crore women to become Lakhpati Didi already under the scheme.
• While there are no changes associated with taxation mentioned in the budget, it majorly focuses on strengthening the foundation for a developed India.
• The focus on cervical cancer vaccination and combined maternal and child health care schemes will be encouraged by the centre with one comprehensive programme.
• Also, the Ayushman Bharat Scheme will be expanded to all ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers and helpers.
