This 1994 American magical realism comedy-drama film directed by Robert Zemeckis and written by Eric Roth. It is based on the 1986 novel of the same name by Winston Groom, starred Tom Hanks as the protagonist and also featured Robin Wright, Gary Sinise, Mykelti Williamson, and Sally Field. The story is based on several decades in the life of a person named Forrest Gump (Hanks), who is slow-witted but a very kind-hearted man from Alabama. He witnesses and unwittingly influences several historical events in the 20th century United States.

Interestingly, the film was based on screenwriter Eleanor Bergstein's own childhood.

As the name says it, the weave by Sinha deals with Article 15 of the Constitution of India, which prohibits discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth. It is not based on one specific event but has been inspired by a number of events that includes the 2014 Badaun gang-rape allegations and 2016 Una flogging incident.

This is a biographical drama film of the famous Urdu author late Saadat Hasan Manto, which has been written and directed by Nandita Das. Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the title character of the Indo-Pakistani author and writer. The film also features Tahir Raj Bhasin who plays the 1940s Bollywood superstar Shyam Chadda. Shyam was Manto's confidant and friend, and also the author's inspiration for a number of stories that he penned. Actress Rasika Dugal plays the role of Manto's wife, Safia. The film is based on the 1940s post-Independence period of India.

The storyline of the film is on this Hindu doctor who is concerned that dementia will soon steal his most cherished memories, so he hires a Mulsim rickshaw driver to take him to his childhood home. A fun and a though-provoking movie, the cast is enough to make you want to watch it and then rest shall be history.

In the film, he is mistaken to be a sage by some villagers, but he is actually reflecting on his past and lost love to search for spiritual wisdom to guide the villagers.
