As the public places in most part of the country has been shut amid the spread of coronavirus, everyone including the celebrities are now stuck in their homes. While the Indian government, doctors and scientists are doing their bit to spread awareness about the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), a few Bollywood stars have also participated in informing their fans about the precautionary measures they must take to stay safe. Participating in the World Health Organisation’s Safe Hands challenge, Anushka Sharma posted a story taking to her Instagram, wherein she can be seen demonstrating washing hands in the most hygienic way to her fans. Clad in a grey tee and black bottoms, the actress also urged her fans to stay safe.
One of the fittest celebrities of Bollywood, Katrina Kaif, gave a fitness crash course to her fans taking to social media. Along with celebrity fitness trained Yasmin Karachiwala, the 36-year-old star posted a series of videos showing her simple workout regime, which people can do while being at home.
Another fitness enthusiast celebrity, Jacqueline Fernandez showed fans how to stay fit by working out home. She demonstrated the easiest yoga asanas and stretching exercises that anyone can do while sitting on a bed or in any corner of their home. The actor shared two videos with her fans captioning them, “Stretch. Keep that spine healthy and happy! Yoga poses are my fav, anytime, anywhere!” and “Make sure you put on some good relaxing music and breathe!!!” she captioned it.
Deepika Padukone’s fans are well aware of her OCD to keeping things organised, In fact, she has even talked about it on a few platforms. So, what better way for an actress to spend time at home? Deepika posted an image, which shows several pairs of bottoms organised in hangers. The global star Priyanka Chopra decided to spend time with her pets, Gino, which she gifted to her husband, Nick Jonas, on their first wedding anniversary. The actor shared a few happy snaps with the German Shepherd, wherein she can be seen holding her with all love. "Staying home during this time is the safest thing to do. Gino giving mommy hugs makes it so much better,” Priyanka wrote alongside the post.
Since all the shoots have been canceled till March 31, Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor are spending their time together at home. Sonam Kapoor who resides in London along with her husband Anand Ahuja came to India amid the coronavirus outbreak. She kept her fans posted by taking to her Instagram stories. She recorded a series of clips, narrating her arrival to the national capital. She said, "Anand and I are back in Delhi and we just want to thank everybody at the airport. When we were leaving London, there was no screening; nothing. Anand and I were massive shocked upon discovering that. However, when we reached India, we were asked to fill a form in which we had to tell the authorities how much we flew in the last 25 days. We gave our travel history. Fortunately, Anand and I had not flown to any of the so-called hotspots where the virus is very rampant. Then our temperatures were taken and we were all fine.”
