I recently decided to give The Brooklyn Creamery's Keto ice cream range a try. While I'm not usually one for "healthier" desserts, I was curious to see if these low-carb, no-added-sugar treats could actually taste good. I picked up three flavors to sample, Caramel Pecan Crunch, Blueberry Cheesecake, and Vanilla Almande. Here's what I found after giving them a taste.
Brooklyn Creamery's Keto Ice Cream Flavours
Keto Vanilla Almande
This one turned out to be my favourite of the bunch. With only 0.9g of net carbs per serving, it has a creamy texture and a lot of intermingling flavours. The vanilla is there but not too overpowering, and there is a nice almond undertone. It genuinely felt like eating regular ice cream, which is quite an achievement for a keto product.
Keto Caramel Pecan Crunch
Coming in at 1g of net carbs per serving, this flavour was a close second. The caramel wasn't too sweet, and the pecan pieces added a nice crunch. It satisfied my craving for something a bit more indulgent without going overboard on carbs.
Keto Blueberry Cheesecake
This flavour, to me, still fell short of the other two flavours because of the 2g net carbs count per serving. The blueberry flavour was a tad weak and tasted somewhat artificial. I didn't get a taste of cheesecake. It wasn't bad, it just didn't reach the standard of the others.

Brooklyn Creamery's Keto Ice Cream Packaging
The Brooklyn Creamery packaging is just right. A 450ml cup is fair enough, and the container is sturdy and well-designed. There are clearly written descriptions of the keto-friendly attributes, and nutrition facts of the product.
The Blueberry Cheesecake and Vanilla Almond are priced at Rs 479, while the Caramel Pecan Crunch is Rs 559.
Final Verdict
Overall, I'm pleasantly surprised by The Brooklyn Creamery's keto ice creams. The Vanilla Almande and Caramel Pecan Crunch are standout flavours that I'd happily buy again. They do a good job of taking care of dessert cravings without any guilt.
While they're not the same as traditional ice cream, they come remarkably close, especially considering the low carb count.
