Asin Thotumkkal, a famous actress seen in Hindi and South Indian cinema, stepped away from big-screen fame and moved towards a quiet life after marrying Rahul Sharma, Co-Founder of Micromax Informatics. In a recent interaction with MyGov, Rahul Sharma revealed Asin’s role in raising their daughter Arin Rayn Sharma, a 7-year-old girl, who knows 12 languages.

In the interaction with MyGov, Rahul Sharma revealed that his daughter has developed an impressive interest in linguistics. He mentioned Asin’s impressive role as a mother. He said, “We have a beautiful daughter. She is seven years old but understands 12 languages”. He mentioned that their daughter knows Korean, Chinese, Thai, and Japanese, whereas he is stuck with Hindi and English. He mentioned how all of this is possible because of Asin, as she has not allowed any kind of screens in their home.

Asin On Raising Kids Without Screens

While talking about his daughter’s ability to speak 12 languages, he talked about how Asin designed this idea of not introducing TV or mobiles into their homes. To make this happen, Asin has only introduced her daughter to books at home. Rahul mentioned that their daughter is in second standard, and her bookshelf has books from Classes 8 and 9 as well.
