Vibe X Review: Kunal Khemu & Preity Zinta's Spy Comedy Is Thrill in the First Half But Drags Later

‘Vibe’ movie comes with the story of two agents on a mission,  with a healthy dose of comedy. Kunal Khemu always takes a different route, which gives cinema a distant Khemu flavour of its own. Sparsh Srivastava and Priety Zinta bring a charm of their own to the screen. Let’s find out the reactions people are giving on the internet.

I'd watch anything Kunal Kemmu makes or acts in, and his latest, VIBE, is slacker-comedy gold...till it mutates into an action showreel. Still, enjoyed the film more than I didn't.

Saw The #Vibe today and honestly, loved the movie.

I love watching movies in an empty theatre, and today there were literally only 7 people in the entire theatre

What is the film about?

The story revolves around two friends, Hardik Sharma (Kunal) and Bhagirath Bhargav, fondly known as Bugs (Sparsh). While the two have contrasting personalities, their strong brotherly bond keeps them together. Bugs, a hardworking and intelligent tech professional, helps goofy and carefree Hardik secure a job at his company.

Hardik, meanwhile, has his eyes set on Kareena (Vanshika Dhir), an intern he is instantly attracted to, and goes all out to impress her. However, their seemingly simple story takes a dramatic turn when Madam H (Preity Zinta) enters the picture. Suddenly, Hardik and Bugs find themselves caught in a dangerous situation and are pushed into an unlikely mission to protect the country.

Conclusion

Overall, Vibe is a fun, light-hearted watch. One action sequence in the second half could have been cut short, but apart from that, Kunal Kemmu's film certainly leaves you with a positive 'vibe' in theatres.
