Directed by dancer and choreographer Remo D’Souza, this 2020 Bollywood dance film stars Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor. When the time comes to participate in an international dance competition, two rival dance groups from India and Pakistan, who are constantly competing against one another join forces. Dhawan’s character belongs to India’s troupe while Kapoor’s belongs to Pakistan’s. They face off against each other as arch rivals on multiple occasions. However, eventually, they fall in love.
Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela
The Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directed tragic romantic action film Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in the lead. The film portrays how the two lovers belonging to families who were arch enemies for generations fell in love with each other and stood by it as the world tried to pull them apart. The film, a tale of love, lust, and drama, is a modern adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet with an Indian twist.
Ishaqzaade
