Udta Teer X Review: Netizens Call Ayushmann Khurrana's Spy Comedy A "Must Watch"

Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan's Udta Teer is finally in cinemas today, October 23. The film was earlier scheduled to release on October 9, so fans have had a long wait. The film is a cross-border spy comedy that turns the usual spy tropes upside down, and it marks the directorial debut of Akash A Kaushik. With the first shows done, social media is already buzzing, and viewers have plenty to say about the laughs, the performances and the story.

Udta Teer Twitter Review: What Are Netizens Saying?

Review: #UdtaTeer

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

#SikhyaEntertainment and #DharmaProductions deliver the most entertaining and unique cinematic experience of 2026.

Director #AkashAKaushik makes a major impression with this comedy.

#AyushmannKhurrana is terrific as the Pakistani spy who loses his memory. He’s great in the comedic portions and displays his chops with ease.

#SaraAliKhan shows restrain and grace. Her scenes with Ayushmann are delightful and heartwarming.

#RahulBose and the late actor #MukulDev get plenty of moments to shine. A joke about Ozempic will surely bring the house down!

The reason why this film wins your hearts is because of its writing and novel concept. And it adds a fresh tadka of deshbhakti for the viewers.

Udta Teer is a film made for cinemas. It’s brave, fresh, and hilarious from start to finish. A must watch!

What Is Udta Teer About?

The film follows a quirky take on espionage, and the makers have promised a full-on caper. The first poster showed Ayushmann lying on a hammock tied between pillars marking the India-Pakistan border, which set the tone for the film's humour. The trailer also played up the chaos of his character's memory loss.
