Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan, which recently hit the theatres on January 25, ahead of the 74th Republic Day, has been breaking records even before hitting the theatres. The film is currently running its 40th uninterrupted day with a collection of ₹2.80 crores.
Since its release, the film has broken several box-ofice records including entering the 1000 crore club before a month, surpassing lifetime records of hit films like Aamir Khan's Dangal, among others.
Pathaan Enters 1000 Crore Club
The film, running its 27th day at the theatres, has now become the fifth Indian film to enter the ₹1000 crores club. Yesterday made for the ninth Monday that the film held on to its ₹1 crore earning.
The film had already crossed ₹700 crores at the worldwide box office on its ninth day and was on its way to break Aamir Khan's Dangal's record. With a collection of over ₹500 crores on its first weekend, the film the first ever Hindi film to do so.
The film has earned ₹25 crore on its first Monday taking its domestic collection to ₹294 crore nett in six days after the Hindi version of K.G.F Chapter 2 was the first one to do so, as per Box Office India.
The film also stars Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, and Dimple Kapadia. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film is packed with high-octane action sequences, Padukone in a never-seen-before avatar, and Khan in his unique patriotic version.
Amidst all the love and success the film and SRK are receiving and achieving, the Pathaan team has organised a press conference in Mumbai on January 30. Khan also shared a video on social media as he greeted in front of Mannat.

Pathan Collects Fastest ₹500 Crore
Pathaan is running on its sixth day at the box office today. The film has already broken several records and has now become the fastest Bollywood film to enter the ₹500 crore club. Siddharth Anand & YRF’s Succesful Spy Universe
After the 2019 Siddharth Anand directorial action thriller War starring Hrithik Roshan, Pathaan, also a part of the Yash Raj Films’ spy universe, is breaking box office records. Pathan first surpassed War in advance booking and now in box office records. War earned an estimated ₹475 crore at the box office.
SRK’s 5-Year Hiatus
The Baadshah is back after a five-year hiatus after his last film Zero co-starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif which did not perform well at the box office in 2018. However, 2023 is slated to be a blast for SRK fans with two other releases Jawan, and Dunki. And the love for Khan has only increased over the years and the box office numbers are proof.
Return of Karan-Arjun
Fan favourite Karan-Arjun returned together on screen with Pathaan after over two decades and the audience can’t keep calm. Salman Khan had a cameo appearance in Pathaan. Promotion of Pathaan
The promotion of Pathaan seems to have massively worked for Pathaan including all the #AskSRK sessions on Twitter that fans eagerly wait for to interact with Khan, and the global promotion at the FIFA World Cup 2022, among others. The FIFA World Cup trophy was unveiled by Padukone ahead of the match while Shah Rukh Khan was also present at the studios to promote the film at the finale. \

Revival of Single Screen Theatres
Pathaan has reportedly brought back magic of Shah Rukh Khan in as many as 25 single screen theatres across the country which were previously shut since coronavirus pandemic. Most of these theatres are located in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh including Jaipur's Gem Cinema, Allahabad's Rajkaran Cinema, Mumbai's Carnival R Mall in Mulund, Jyoti Cinema in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and Cinekamla Ponda in Goa.
