The highly anticipated action-drama, 'Spirit', uniting superstar Prabhas with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, has officially begun production. A traditional mahurat ceremony, marking the commencement of the shoot, was held on Sunday, generating immediate buzz among fans.
The event was graced by megastar Chiranjeevi as the chief guest, alongside producer Bhushan Kumar and lead actress Triptii Dimri. Photos from the ceremony, quickly shared on social media by the film's official handle, captured Chiranjeevi holding the clapboard with Bhushan Kumar, with Vanga and Dimri standing beside them.
Interestingly, the lead star, Prabhas, was notably absent from the shared pictures, sparking various fan theories about the possibility of the makers concealing his look for the cop role.

The pan-India film is set to star Prabhas as a formidable police officer. According to reports, the plot centres on a disgraced IPS officer determined to dismantle a ruthless international crime syndicate. His mission to reclaim his honour forces him to adopt an uncompromising and brutal approach, promising a high-octane, intense action saga.
Triptii Dimri, who reunites with director Vanga after ‘Animal’, will portray the female lead, reportedly playing the role of a doctor who becomes romantically involved with Prabhas's character amid the tough situations of his mission. The confirmed supporting cast includes veteran actors Vivek Oberoi, Prakash Raj, and Kanchana in pivotal roles.

There are also strong rumours circulating that the main antagonist will be portrayed by Korean actor Don Lee (Ma Dong-seok), known for ‘Train to Busan’ and ‘Eternals’. While not officially announced, this casting choice suggests the film is being planned for an even broader international appeal. The project, produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures, is expected to be released in nine languages, underscoring its ambition as a true pan-India spectacle.
