The trailer of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar, the upcoming Hindi film starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, is finally here and has got us all excited to watch the duo for the first time on screen. The film is all set to hit the theatres on March 8 on Holi this year.
Directed by Luv Ranjan, the romantic comedy film looks like a depiction of modern-day relationships with confusing equations and break ups. The trailer video begins with Ranbir claiming that it is easy to enter a relationship now-a-days but difficult to get out of it and moves forward to a confusing tale of truths and lies in a relationship. The video has most of its scenes and song sequences at the beach. Halfway through the video, Shraddha is also seen reiterating the same dialogue on relationships and getting frustrated. While the first half of the video has Ranbir trying to impress Shraddha and the duo getting into a relationship, the second half is about the couple trying to get out of it with a “khubsurat” (graceful) breakup, but ending up fighting.

Shraddha Kapoor attended the trailer launch event in a black bodycon mini dress while Ranbir Kapoor was seen in a white T-shirt, beige jacket, and blue jeans.
The teaser of the film was unveiled in December last year when the makers revealed the title of the film and announced that it was eyeing a Holi 2023 release.
Now only time will tell if Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar will also turn out to be another misogynist crap masquerading as comedy. Given the very rigid male perspective like Ranjan’s previous works including Pyaar Ka Punchnama and Sonu Ke Tittu Ki Sweety that won’t be surprising.
Recently, both Luv Ranjan and Ranbir Kapoor got married to their respective better halves. Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who were recently blessed with a baby girl, got married on April 14, 2022.
