After the success of Peddi, Ram Charan has reportedly locked in a new film, where he will reportedly play Lord Krishna. The movie is said to be the Telugu remake of the Gujarati blockbuster Laalo – Krishna Sada Sahayate. Even though Ram Charan has not confirmed the development yet, it has already created excitement among fans.

What will be the plot of Laalo’s Telugu remake?

According to industry sources, producer Mahavir Jain is in advanced discussions to bring the story to Telugu cinema following the theatrical success of the original Gujarati film.

Sources close to the development suggest that the Telugu adaptation is expected to retain the emotional essence and spiritual core. However, the makers are also believed to be exploring ways to reimagine the story for a wider Telugu audience, potentially giving the film a bigger commercial scale.

How was the box office performance of Laalo?

For the unversed, Laalo- Krishna Sada Sahayate has emerged as one of the biggest success stories in recent regional cinema, reportedly crossing the Rs 120 crore mark at the box office despite being made on a small budget of approximately Rs 50 lakh.

Laalo also reportedly became the first Gujarati film to cross the Rs 100 crore mark. Following the film's success, the audience might even see its Telugu version.

Will Ram Charan have a lead role in the film?

Ram Charan is in talks to make a special appearance as Lord Krishna. He is reportedly being considered for a pivotal cameo in the Telugu adaptation, where his character could be presented as a contemporary and charismatic interpretation of Lord Krishna.

Sources indicate that discussions are still ongoing, and no final decisions regarding the director or the cast have been officially confirmed.

The Telugu remake is still in the discussion stage, with several key aspects of the project believed to be under consideration. The makers are expected to finalise the creative team and casting before making an official announcement.
