Directed by Sukumar, the commercial action thriller movie ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is dominating the box office worldwide. Despite a 54% or more fall in its collections on Monday, the movie is on the list of one of the highest-grossing movies. Released on December 5, 2024, Allu Arjun starrer commercial film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is breaking records at the box office. According to film trade portal Sacnilk, the movie grossed around ₹593.1 crore on Monday, out of which ₹331.7 crore from its Hindi shows and ₹211.7 crore from its Telugu shows. Apart from this, ‘Pushpa 2’ made ₹34.45 crore, ₹11.2 crore, and ₹4.05 crore from Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada shows respectively.
With this collection, the movie surpasses the lifetime box office collections of the Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna starrer- ‘Animal’ which made a total of ₹553.87 crores during its eight-week-long run at the box office.

‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ made around Rs 65 crore net at the Indian box office. In only five days of its run, the ‘Pushpa’ sequel had crossed the Rs 900 crore mark and the counting is still on. It is expected that soon it will cross the Rs 1000 crore mark and create a new box office record.
Movie trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to confirm that the film surpassed the Rs 900 crore mark globally.

According to the tracking website Sacnilk, the Telugu version of the movie grossed Rs 14 crore and the Hindi version collected around Rs 46 crore in India.
