Mysaa Teaser: Rashmika Mandanna Is A One-Woman Army In Action-Packed Thriller, Watch

Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in an action-packed role for the first time in Mysaa. She has put her star power towards meaty roles after starring in many successful films and being the first choice of many filmmakers. Rashmika will play a Gond woman who is also a warrior and is against many enemies.

According to the official description by the makers, Mysaa, it "promises to be a high-octane emotional action thriller that ventures deep into the culturally rich and captivating world of the Gond tribes. Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in a completely transformative and never-seen-before avatar, portraying a Gond woman with fierce intensity and emotional depth."

Mysaa Release Date:

Mysaa will release in theatres on November 27, 2026.

Who is in the cast of Mysaa?

Apart from Rashmika Mandanna in the title role, the movie also stars Eshwari Rao, Rahul Ravindran, Samuthirakani, Rao Ramesh, Shiva Kandukuri, Karthik Ranjini, Tarak Ponnappa and Nidhi Singh.

It is directed and written by Rawindra Pulle, and produced by Ajay Saipureddy, Anil Sayyapureddy and Veerasai Gopa.

Rashmika has been seen in completely different roles in the past few years, adding big contrast to her choices. She played the role of Ranbir Kapoor's wife in Animal, whereas, she was seen in a completely opposite role in The Girlfriend.

While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter India, the actress talked about her choices and said, "Animal was a commercial film where we spoke about a very flawed man. The Girlfriend is about Bhooma working on herself, and she happens to be in a toxic relationship. This is a social messaging."

Talking about choosing strong characters, she added, "I’ve always chosen to do strong female characters. Except one film, I think, never have I been purely ornamental." 

Mysaa is another addition to the strong characters she has chosen to play. However, it will also be her first action role.

On the work front, Rashmika has some other interesting films lined up. She will play the legendary Carnatic singer MS Subbulakshmi in an awaited biopic.
While talking about the role, she wrote, "Playing MS Subbulakshmi Amma is an absolute honour. Her life, her voice, and her dedication to music are legendary, and I feel incredibly blessed to have this opportunity to bring her story to life. I know this is a huge responsibility, and I will do my absolute best to do justice to her legacy."
