The plot of Mirai will show you the story of a yodha who has the responsibility of protecting the sacred scriptures on his shoulder. This action film shows us the origin story of this yodha and how, with some divine intervention, he goes on to uphold his oath to protect these nine scriptures. The nine scriptures or granthas are the most important in this movie, as the entire plot revolves around keeping them safe. These nine scriptures are left behind by Emperor Ashoka from a weapon called Mirai. With these nine sacred scriptures, one can get the power to turn any mortal into a deity. The story of Mirai is built on the myth of Emperor Ashoka, who stores all his powers in nine scriptures after winning the Kalinga war. The emperor did this in order to prevent such destruction from ever occurring again. Mahabir Lama, the Black Sword (Manoj), is a great sorcerer who is set on gaining the power from these sacred scriptures and becoming unbeatable.
Vedha, the super yodha, is made aware of the prophecy he has to fulfil and sets out on the journey to find the weapon, Mirai. This weapon, Mirai, was once used by Lord Ram, and now Vedha will use it to fight off Mahabir.

We see towards the end of the movie that Mahavir temporarily does possess all of the nine scriptures and tries to misuse his newfound power to cause destruction. At the same time, a deeply wounded Vedha tries until his last breath to fight Mahavir. In a sudden miracle, Lord Rama intervenes in the duel and helps Vedha destroy Mahabir with the help of Mirai. The weapon of Mirai has now transformed into the sacred, celestial bow Kodanda. With the weapon upgrade, we also see Vedha’s transformation into the ultimate super yodha, protector of good and destroyer of evil. The movie ends with devotees at Kumbh mela watching the dark omen disappear from the sky and the sudden golden glow of Lord Ram.

Although the movie Mirai ended, the credits scene hinted that there will be more battles for Vedha to win!
