Before its theatrical release on November 21, the film had to undergo several cuts demanded by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The board ordered removal of a nine-second ‘top-angle animal humping’ shot, trimming of 30 seconds of close-ups, and muting or modifying three dialogues, including words like ‘behen’ and ‘item’. An alcohol brand mention was also altered before the film received an ‘A’ certificate on November 17.
