Ashwin Kumar's mythological animated epic ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ continues its impressive box office journey, establishing new benchmarks for Indian animation. The film has maintained steady momentum since its theatrical release on July 25, 2025, capturing audiences across multiple languages and formats.

The devotional epic has proven that animated content can achieve significant commercial success in Indian cinema. Released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages in both 2D and 3D formats, the film demonstrates the growing appetite for quality animated storytelling in the domestic market.

As per the Sacnilk report, ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ collected approximately ₹0.1 crore on Day 19 (third Tuesday), bringing the total domestic collection to ₹175 crore. This minimal collection on Tuesday reflects the typical weekday pattern observed throughout the film's theatrical run.

The third week has shown the expected decline after a strong weekend performance, with Monday's collection at ₹5.25 crore marking a significant 77.66% drop from Sunday's impressive ₹23.5 crore collection.

Mahavatar Narsimha Hindi Version Dominates Box Office Performance

Despite being a regional language production, ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ has achieved remarkable success in Hindi-speaking markets. The Hindi version consistently outperforms other language variants, contributing the largest share to the film's overall collections.

Industry tracker Sacnilk data reveal that the Hindi version alone collected ₹3.75 crore on Day 18 (the third Monday), while Telugu contributed ₹1.25 crore and Kannada added ₹0.25 crore to the day's total.

Mahavatar Narsimha Worldwide Box Office Collection

The film's global performance has been equally impressive, with worldwide gross collections reaching ₹213 crore within 17 days. International markets contributed approximately ₹11 crore to the film's overseas earnings.

Presenter Hombale Films announced on social media platform X, stating, "210 CRORES+ worldwide gross & counting…#MahavatarNarsimha continues the glorious run, shattering records and winning the love of millions worldwide."

Hombale Films presented the project, while Shilpaa Dhawan, Kushal Desai, and Chaitanya Desai produced the film under the Kleem Productions banner. The success has already paved the way for future instalments in the planned mythological franchise.
