Lust Stories 2 Teaser Out! A Look At How OTT Redefines The Idea Of Sexuality On Screen

Leading OTT platform Netflix has announced the second installment of its Emmy Awards nominated erotic comedy ‘Lust Stories’ that was released back in 2018. The anthology movie comes back with a bang featuring four new stories that are helmed by four new directors including Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Konkona Sen Sharma, R Balki and Sujoy Ghosh and it showcases a bunch of surprising faces in the star cast. The teaser of ‘Lust Stories 2’ was released on Tuesday by the streaming giant and has everyone glued to their screens waiting for more.

The idea of OTT platforms redefining how sexuality is presented on screen is dealt with via the upcoming Netflix movie. Let us walk you through how that came to be. Produced by RSVP and Flying Unicorn Entertainment, ‘Lust Stories 2’ is a bouquet of films that throw light on relationships via the lens of love, romance, lust and beyond. It is a topical commentary on the idea and depiction of sexuality on screen from the female point of view. The OTT medium and lesser censorship on online streaming content in India has given the freedom to producers, directors as well as the show casing platforms to deal with the sensitive issue of erotic expression as it is stringed thematically together in this anthology.
