Love And War: Sanjay Leela Bhansali Brings Together Ranbir, Alia, And Vicky For His Next Release

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has made it official by unveiling the star cast for his upcoming project ‘Love and War’. The movie titled ‘Love and War’ will portray the battlefield of emotions among Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. This film reunites Kapoor and Bhansali after 17 years and marks the first film with Kaushal.  Read on to learn more about the movie and the release. 

Love And War Will Be Released In 2025

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has announced the release of the movie in 2025. Vicky Kaushal took to Instagram and shared the announcement that states “ We bring you Sanjay Leela Bhansali's epic saga 'Love & War'. See you at the movies! Christmas 2025". The poster had three names: Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal and Ranbir Kapoor with their signatures. The caption read,  “Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next EPIC saga ‘LOVE & WAR’ starring #RanbirKapoor @aliaabhatt & @vickykaushal09. See you in Cinemas on CHRISTMAS 2025!” The genre of the movie and other details are yet to be disclosed. However, netizens are anticipating it to be an epic drama of love and emotions.

Second Collaboration With Bhatt, Kapoor And Kaushal

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has previously worked with Alia Bhatt in Gangubai Kathiawadi which was a milestone in Alia’s bollywood career. Alia won the National Award in 2023 for her incredible acting in the movie. Alia Bhatt also took to Instagram to share the poster which has the caption: "An eternal cinema dream has come true”. This movie is going to be the first collaboration of Vicky Kaushal with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. However, Ranbir previously worked with Bhansali in Saawariya which was his debut movie in 2007. Moreover, Ranbir also assisted the director in Rani Mukerji and Amitabh Bachchan's Black (2005).

Apart from this project, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-anticipated web series with Netflix-  Heera Mandi — is set to release later this year. The Manisha Koirana, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Richa Chadha starrer are based on the lives of courtesans in pre-independence India.
