Marking the Bollywood debut of Lakshya, the action thriller is all set to release in the theatres on July 5, 2024. The filmmakers unveiled the trailer today and it is everything you want in an action film. Here is everything you need to know about the film, including a trailer review.

Kill Trailer Out

Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the film is expected to deliver on all parts, romance, action, thrill, and so much more. The trailer begins with Lakshya proposing to his girlfriend Tanya Maniktala on a train and their romantic moment abruptly getting interrupted by a group of goons attacking the train.

The story builds up with a terrifying assault by the armed and ruthless group. The film also features the famous television personality Raghav Juyal who gives a tremendous appearance as the antagonist, Fani. Lakshya’s character is then forced to take on a relentless and fierce rampage for protecting himself and his loved ones.

The description of the film on its official website reads, “When army commando Amrit (Lakshya) finds out his true love Tulika (Tanya Maniktala) is engaged against her will, he boards a New Delhi-bound train in a daring quest to derail the arranged marriage. But when a gang of knife-wielding thieves led by the ruthless Fani (Raghav Juyal) begin to terrorise innocent passengers on his train, Amrit takes them on himself in a death-defying kill-spree to save those around him — turning what should have been a typical commute into an adrenaline-fuelled thrill ride.”

The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) last year and received tremendous appreciation with an eight-minute standing ovation. The film is slated to be released in India on July 5, and we cannot wait!

Prior to the trailer release, Karan Johar, who is co-producing the film with Guneet Monga and others, shared multiple posters showcasing the film's protagonist, Lakshya, and the antagonist, Raghav, on his Instagram handle.
