Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara Chapter-1’ is showing no signs of fatigue even after nearly two weeks in theatres. The prequel to the 2022 hit ‘Kantara’ continues to dominate the box office with powerful weekday collections, retaining strong occupancy despite new releases. As per Sacnilk early estimates, the film has now amassed an impressive ₹466.1 crore in just 14 days, cementing its place among the top-grossing Indian films of all time.
According to Sacnilk, ‘Kantara Chapter-1’ collected ₹13.50 crore (early estimates) on its 13th day (Tuesday) across all languages. The Kannada and Hindi versions continue to lead the charge, followed closely by the Telugu and Tamil markets. With minimal competition at the box office, Rishab Shetty’s epic continues its steady climb toward the ₹500 crore milestone, a mark that now looks easily achievable within its third weekend.

In its first week, ‘Kantara Chapter-1’ earned a massive ₹337.40 crore, driven by strong word-of-mouth and rave reviews for its visual storytelling and emotional depth.
The film’s second weekend further boosted its total, adding ₹101.35 crore between Friday and Sunday. Monday and Tuesday’s steady holds, ₹13.35 crore and ₹13.50 crore respectively, reaffirm the film’s mass appeal.

As of Day 13, ‘Kantara Chapter-1’ has surpassed the lifetime collections of Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’ (₹628 crore) and SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ (₹650 crore) in all-language totals, according to early trade estimates. The film now ranks around 17th among the highest-grossing Indian films ever and stands as the second-highest-grossing Indian film of 2025, right behind ‘Chhaava’ (₹808 crore).
