JFF 2026: Siddharth Wins Best Actor For Operation Safed Sagar; Hanuman Ansh In Winners List Too

Jagran Film Festival 2026 is finally coming to an end after travelling across India in various cities with the last grand event being held in Mumbai. It is a star studded event in Mumbai as Bollywood celebs have marked their attendance and winner will be announced, honouring the best for the movies and shows in 2026. 

Sidharth, who has made another new niche for himself on OTT after ruling the big screens, has bagged the Best Actor award at the Jagran Film Festival 2026 for his stellar performance in Netflix's web series Operation Safed Sagar. For the unversed, Operation Safed Sagar is based on the true event of the Kargil War and it was also the code name for the Indian Air Force's No. 17 Squadron of the IAF operations at that time. The series received immense love from the audience and critics alike with Sidharth now winning Best Actor at JFF 2026.
Operation Safed Sagar also starred Jimmy Shergill, Vinay Pathak, Manu Rishi Chadha and Abhay Verma in the lead roles.

Coming to Hanuman Ansh, Sadhu Tiwari won the Best Music Director for the hit song 'Parvati', which is also viral on all over social media. Hanuman Ansh was the breakout star among several others big releases in theatres in 2026. The movie initially did not receive a good response as the theatres were dominated other big-budegted releases. But it gained new life after a month and became a blockbuster.
The biographical drama is based on the book Divine Detour: That Changed My Life, about the life of Neem Karoli Baba. It stars Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand in the lead roles, with Anil Rastogi, Purnima Tiwwari, Sugandha Malhotra, Bhagvandas Patel, and Neha Paranjpe. 

Talking about the Jagran Film Festival 2026, the grand event took place in several cities across India including Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai and many more. In Delhi, Bollywood stars like Bobby Deol, Taapsee Pannu and Imtiaz Ali graced the event and interacted with fans in different sessions.
