Directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, 'Jatadhara' centres around Sudheer Babu, who plays a ghost hunter who, ironically, doesn't believe in ghosts. Meanwhile, Sonakshi Sinha makes her Telugu debut in the film, playing the main villain, the evil Dhana Pisachi.
The film was shot simultaneously in both Telugu and Hindi and takes its story from the myths and mysteries surrounding the Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Kerala.
