Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 Twitter Review: Twitter reviews for Five Nights at Freddy's 2 are sharply divided, with professional critics largely criticising the film for its messy script and lack of genuine scares. On the other hand, many fans found it to be an enjoyable experience.

Five Nights at Freddy's 2 Twitter Review

One user wrote that the film will make fans happy, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a good movie. "Scene after scene of the most repetitive copy-paste jump scares. Cheap, lazy, and uninspired in every way. It keeps cutting to animatronics and playing loud sounds. Mind-numbingly predictable," the user added.

Many fans acknowledge the movie's flaws but express enjoyment, stating that they "loved this bad movie." "I grew up in a time filled with unnecessary horror sequels. Many of which were just as poorly written and performed as this, but we loved them all the same," one user wrote, adding, "There's a lot of fun to be had with this movie, and I highly encourage everyone to get out and see it! Animatronic killer friends stay winning."

Some believe that it's a kids' movie, meant for eleven-year-olds and adults who were eleven when the games first came out. However, even on that basis, these movies aren't nearly as scary, funny, or self-aware as they should be.

Others praised the film, calling it "one of the best horror films by a landslide." "Brilliant story and character moments. This is made with love...bring your tissues, but not because it's a sad movie."

Some viewers found the sequel to be an improvement over the original, with more action and surprises for those familiar with the game lore. "Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is a minor improvement over the first, but sadly, still an underwhelming experience. Josh Hutcherson seems bored, the scares are reserved for 12-year-olds, and the ending is abrupt sequel bait. Also, no official Matthew and Skeet reunion on screen."

Echoing the sentiment, another viewer wrote that it is better than the original. "Fans of the games are going to scream at some of the surprises packed into this sequel. And while I had a blast with it for what it is and genuinely think it's a great entry-level horror for kids, the script... yeah, it's rough."

Five Nights at Freddy's 2 Plot

It is a supernatural horror film based on the video game series Five Nights at Freddy's, created by Scott Cawthon.
