Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat Box Office Collection Day 17: Harshvardhan-Sonam’s Romantic Drama Reaches Rs 70 Crore In India, Beats 'Baahubali: The Epic' On Wednesday

Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa's romantic drama, 'Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat', has emerged as the dark horse of the festive season, achieving impressive box office numbers. The film performed better than expectations, successfully surpassing the ₹70 crore net mark in India and achieving the coveted ₹100 crore gross milestone globally. This success is particularly notable as the film carved out a significant niche for itself despite clashing with the horror-comedy 'Thamma,' a competitor that had a much wider release.

Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat Box Office Collection Day 17

The film started strong with a first-week collection of around ₹55.15 crore. The momentum continued into the second week, demonstrating excellent holdover figures. On its second Friday (Day 11), the movie earned ₹2.35 crore, followed by a healthy growth over the weekend, collecting ₹3.15 crore on Saturday and ₹3.75 crore on Sunday.

The film maintained a steady footing into the weekdays, adding ₹1.65 crore on Monday (Day 14). A notable jump was observed on Tuesday (Day 15), with collections hitting ₹2.25 crore, likely due to discounted ticket prices. The consistent performance continued through the mid-week, adding roughly ₹2 crore on Wednesday (Day 16), showcasing its resilience and even maintaining an edge over competitor films like the 'Baahubali: The Epic' re-release. According to early estimates for Thursday (Day 17), the film added another ₹1.91 crore, bringing the total India net collection up to Day 17 to approximately ₹70.26 - ₹70.30 crore.
