Dude Box Office Collection Day 12: Pradeep Ranganathan’s ‘Dude’ continues its theatrical journey into the second week with slightly reduced momentum. The romantic comedy, directed by Keerthiswaran, has emerged as one of the most successful Tamil releases of the year, balancing emotional depth with breezy humour.
According to Sacnilk, ‘Dude’ collected ₹1.4 crore (till now, rough data) on its eleventh day, taking its India net total to ₹66.82 crore by the end of Day 12. While domestic collections have slowed, the film’s overseas performance remains robust, pushing its worldwide gross beyond the ₹100 crore mark.
The milestone was confirmed by the production house Mythri Movie Makers, who celebrated the achievement on social media with the post: “DUDE continues his blockbuster run at the cinemas. #DUDE collects a gross of over 100 CRORES WORLDWIDE in 6 days.”
By its eighth day, ‘Dude’ had begun to settle into a slower but steady rhythm. As per Sacnilk, the film earned ₹2 crore (India net) on its second Friday, marking a 9% dip from the previous day’s figures. Despite the decline, the film maintained consistent occupancy across major Tamil Nadu and Telugu circuits.
Its strong hold over the weekend (Days 9 and 10) helped cushion weekday drops, a sign of sustained audience engagement. The rom-com’s appeal lies largely in Pradeep Ranganathan’s on-screen charisma and the relatable storyline, which has resonated with younger audiences.
