The countries in which this spy thriller is banned are Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. This movie has not been released in these countries because it did not secure clearance in any of the UAE/GCC nations. The UAE/GCC nations are a region that often contributes heavily to Bollywood’s overs. Many thought that a major reason for this movie not getting approval is that the film is perceived as an ‘anti-Pakistan film’.

Dhurandhar Plot

This action drama movie revolves around Hamza Ali Mazari (Ranveer Singh), who is an undercover agent. Hamza gets sent to Lyari, Karachi, under the ‘Operation Dhurandhar’. His mission is to get to the underbelly of the terror networks and dismantle them. Hamza poses as a Pakistani and works his way up the network, with guidance from the infamous legend, Rehman Baloch (Akshaye Khanna). This top-secret, challenging mission is made all the more difficult by Major Iqbal (Arjun Rampal) from the ISI. Major Iqbal is hellbent on making India bleed.
