Kunal Khemu’s second time directorial debut, ‘Vibe’ released in theatres on 18th September 2026. This action comedy film went head-to-head with Meghna Gulzar’s crime thriller ‘Daayra’, starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran.

On its opening day Vibe took a lead over Kareena's Daayra at the box office. Vibe collected an estimate of ₹1.5 Cr. in India and ₹1.8 Cr. worldwide. The film recorded an overall occupancy of 13.38% across 3194 shows. The shows picked up in the evening from 6% to 22.31%. On the other hand, Daayra opened with ₹90 lakh net domestically on Day 1.
