Kuch Kuch Hota Hai: Ask ChatGPT For Alternative Endings To Iconic SRK Film

AI bots are the newest topic of conversation. These AI bots have lately been used to generate movie ideas and create dating app biographies. We therefore considered requesting some alternate endings for the legendary SRK movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge from ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot developed by OpenAI and published in November 2022.

Even if fans would watch most of the Shah Rukh Khan-starring films a thousand times in their lives, they could have been made in various ways. Some GenZs believe that certain plotlines are flawed, toxic and politically incorrect or not “woke” enough. We therefore wanted to take into account ChatGPT's recommendations for other SRK films' endings.

ChatGPT’s Disclaimer

“As an AI language model, I cannot provide a definitive answer as to what would be the "best" alternative ending to the Bollywood film 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge',” wrote the AI before suggesting alternative suggestions.

It further added, “Ultimately, any alternative ending would depend on the creative vision of the filmmakers and what message they want to convey to the audience.”

ChatGPT’s Alternative Endings For Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

Instead of Anjali (Kajol) realizing her love for Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan) at the end, she decides to focus on her friendship with him and they remain best friends. Anjali goes on to find love with someone else, and Rahul realizes that he loves Anjali but respects her decision to stay friends.

Rahul and Anjali both realize that they have feelings for each other, but decide not to act on them as they don't want to risk ruining their friendship. They both move on with their lives and find happiness in other relationships.

Anjali decides to pursue her dreams of becoming a successful businesswoman and focuses on building her career. Rahul supports her and remains her close friend, but eventually realizes that he can't be just friends with her anymore and confesses his love for her. Anjali is taken aback but eventually realizes that she loves him too, and they start a romantic relationship.

The film ends with Rahul and Anjali getting married and living happily ever after. However, they also encourage their daughter, who is named after Anjali's best friend Tina (Rani Mukerji), to pursue her dreams and not let love hold her back. The film ends with the message that true love is about supporting each other's dreams and aspirations.
