AI bots are the latest talk of the town. From suggesting movie plots to bios for dating apps, these AI bots have been doing it all recently. So, we thought of asking ChatGPT, an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot developed by OpenAI that released in November 2022, some alternative endings for the iconic SRK film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.

While most of the Shah Rukh Khan starrers are already iconic and fans will rewatch it a thousand times over in a lifetime, they could definitely be done other ways. Some GenZs do think some of the plotlines are flawed and toxic. So, we wanted to consider ChatGPT’s suggestion for alternative endings to some of the iconic SRK films.

ChatGPT’s Alternative Endings For DDLJ

One alternative ending could be that Raj and Simran decide to remain friends and go their separate ways, realizing that they have different goals in life.

Another alternative ending could be that Simran chooses to pursue her dreams and career, and decides not to get married to Raj. The two part on good terms, with the understanding that they will always cherish the memories they shared together.

A more unconventional alternative ending could be that Raj and Simran's families ultimately do not approve of their relationship, and the two are forced to elope and start a new life together.

After going through several obstacles, tragedy and action sequences, by the end Simran’s father lets her go to Raj and delivers the iconic dialogue, “Jaa Simran jaa… jee le apni zindagi! (Go Simran go, live your life!)”
