Bhooth Bangla Advance Booking

Director Priyadarshan is making a highly anticipated return to Hindi cinema with his latest fantasy horror comedy, ‘Bhooth Bangla’. The film is set to arrive in theatres across the globe on April 17, 2026. Early signs suggest a solid start, as advance bookings have already kicked off with enough momentum to potentially land it among Akshay Kumar’s top 10 pre-sale performers in the post-pandemic era.

There is a huge amount of buzz surrounding this project, largely because it reunites Priyadarshan with his ‘hit machine,’ Akshay Kumar. Fans are particularly keen to see the duo back together with their classic ensemble, the ‘dream team’ featuring Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, and Manoj Joshi. With a spooky theme that many are comparing to the vibe of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’, the anticipation is only growing as the release date nears.

Bhooth Bangla Pre-Sales Performance in Mumbai, Delhi, and Major Cities

The pre-sales data across major Indian hubs shows varying levels of early interest. In the National Capital Region (NCR), the film has collected ₹1.44 lakh (reaching ₹6.26 lakh with blocked seats) across 510 shows. Mumbai is following closely with ₹1.08 lakh in sales from 271 shows. In Gujarat, the film is finding a decent audience early on, with Ahmedabad recording ₹72.29 lakh and Surat bringing in ₹78.72 lakh.

In other regions, Indore has shown a strong start with ₹1.23 lakh in pre-sales across 40 shows. Interestingly, Durgapur is currently leading in terms of occupancy; while it only has 8 shows scheduled, it has already amassed ₹2.58 lakh, with nearly 92% of seats filled. This suggests that smaller pockets are seeing a massive surge in demand for the Priyadarshan-Akshay reunion.

Can Bhooth Bangla Enter Akshay Kumar’s Top 10 Pre-Sales?

To break into Akshay Kumar's top 10 post-COVID advance booking list, ‘Bhooth Bangla’ will need to pick up speed in the coming days. Currently, ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ holds the tenth spot with ₹1.84 crore, while ‘Housefull 5’ remains the undisputed leader at over ₹8 crore. Given the nostalgic value of the Priyadarshan and Akshay partnership, trade analysts expect the numbers to climb rapidly as the final countdown to April 17, 2026, begins.

While the film still has a way to go to catch up to heavyweights like ‘Sooryavanshi’ or ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, the early interest suggests that the ‘Bhooth Bangla’ hype is very much alive.
