Bigg Boss 20 still keeps building the tension within the house as emotions, friendships, and instincts of survival become the focus of attention. In episode 23, Rhiti Tiwari tried to make peace with Uditi Singh after the Diss Battle; Mary Kom shared her private details with other people, while captain Gullu had to make an important decision which would affect the rations and lives of the contestants in the house. The episode finished with a nomination task that put some contestants under threat.
Gullu Chooses Ration Over Lifelines For The House
With Kushal Tanwar, aka Gullu, taking charge as captain for the second time, Bigg Boss gave him a crucial decision that would affect the entire house. He was given four options: 120% ration with no Jeevandan, or 80% ration along with the restoration of lifelines for different pairs of contestants.
Gullu ultimately chose 80% ration along with the restoration of Uditi Singh and Kanika Mann’s lifelines, giving the two contestants another chance to continue their journey in the house. His second stint as captain also led to the opening of the second door of the 2X Room for the first time.
The Nomination Battle Begins
The week’s nominations brought a unique twist, with housemates divided into pairs and asked to decide within 10 minutes who should stay and who should be nominated. If they failed to reach a decision within the given time, both contestants would face nomination. As captain, Gullu was exempted from the task.
Rhiti Tiwari and Amrapali were the first pair to enter the task but failed to reach a consensus, resulting in both being nominated. Mahi Vij and Arishfa Khan followed, with Mahi pointing out that Arishfa had a strong fan following and could potentially be saved. After their discussion, Mahi chose to nominate herself.
Rhiti Apologises To Uditi, Opens Up About Her Anger Towards Qazi
Following the heated Diss Battle showdown, Rhiti Tiwari approached Uditi Singh to clear the air and apologised for her reaction towards her. Rhiti admitted that she was consumed by her anger towards Qazi, which led to Uditi getting caught in the crossfire. She clarified that her reaction was not directed at Uditi and revealed that what she feels towards Qazi is “not jealousy, but pure hatred.”
Rhiti also told Uditi that she feels the latter is getting overshadowed within her group by Mahi Vij, Qazi, Arishfa Khan and Aman. Later, the group was also seen discussing Uditi’s current stance towards them, adding another layer of tension to the equation.
Mary Kom Gets Candid About Love and Her Life
A candid conversation took place when Qazi asked Mary Kom if she had ever fallen in love. Opening up about her personal experiences, Mary revealed that while there had been incidents in her life, she did not feel love from within and instead found herself driven by responsibilities.
Later, Aman asked her how much of her biopic was based on her real life. Mary clarified that there was very little of the film that reflected her actual life and that the character portrayed in it was not the person she experienced in reality.
