Neither Shah Rukh Khan nor the fan named any specific film as a competition for King, but December 2026 is filled with several major releases like Avengers Doomsday and Dune 3. While talking about the buzz regarding other films and King becoming the sandwich between them, the actor said, “Not at all....Baaki bread pieces ka bhi toh socho....hum toh center ki tasty Tikki hain.”
A fan also joked if his son AbRam will watch Doomsday or King. To this, SRK responded, "Pehle to Baap hi ayega beta!!!"
