Spider-Man is officially back, and the world is eagerly flocking to watch him. The new Marvel Cinematic Universe movie featuring Spider-Man starring Tom Holland and Zendaya, titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day, has begun its theatre run with an incredible start, as it managed to earn a total of ₹28 crore on its opening day. Marking a new beginning for the titular superhero in the wake of the game-changing story of No Way Home, the movie is receiving huge hype from both comic book nerds and regular cinema-goers.

As per Sacnilk, on Day 1, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is currently running across 13,125 shows and has collected a net of ₹32.38 crore today. This brings total India gross collections to ₹38.21 crore and total India net to ₹32.38 crore so far, with India final collections yet to be reported.

Spider-Man Brand New Day Occupancy Rate

The movie has made an occupancy of 67.9%, with the Hindi version recording a great 96% occupancy. The movie in the English language has grossed Rs 8.86 crore, whereas the Hindi language version has grossed Rs 6.70 crore. The Tamil and Telugu versions of the movie have also performed well by grossing Rs 1.18 crore and Rs 1.24 crore, respectively.
