Love & War is one of the most anticipated Bollywood films and fans were eagerly waiting for a new update. The wait is finally over as the makers have officially dropped the first poster and look from the film. The poster features Ranbir Kapoor, channeling his old school charm but a bloodied twist.
Sharing the poster, the official X page of Bhansali Productions wrote, "Woh rutba, woh raub, woh junoon! See you at the movies! Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War on 21st January 2027."
In the poster, Ranbir is seen driving a vintage car, donning a white T-shirt, glasses and a vintage watch. However, his hand is bruised and bloodied, creating speculations about his character and also the film's plot.
Love & War Release Date:
There were several delays in Love & War and it was supposed to hit theatres in 2026. The official release date has now been announced and the film will now hit theatres on January 21, 2027, giving an advantage of Republic Day 2027 weekend to the makers.
Who is in the cast of Love & War?
Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Love & War also stars Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.
This is the second collaboration of Sanjay Leela Bhansali with Alia and Ranbir and the first with Vicky. Interestingly, it is also Alia's second collab with both Vicky and Ranbir. Vicky also worked with both Alia and Ranbir in Raazi and Sanju, respectively.
What is the plot of Love & War?
Not much has been revealed about the plot of Love & War. As per reports, Ranbir and Vicky will plat ndian Air Force officers, who get caught in a love triangle with Alia's character. It is confirmed to be a period drama. The cast has already wrapped up shooting for the film and it was shot in multiple schedules.
With Sanjay Leela Bhansali returning to filmmaking after Netflix's Heeramandi and the excellent star cast, the audience is eagerly tuned in to watch the film on the big screens.
