Shah Rukh Khan is set to return to the big screens after three years with actioner 'King'. It seems like we will see a romantic side of the superstar in the film. The actor has shared the new poster of King, creating immense excitement among fans. 

King New Poster Out: 

In the poster, Shah Rukh Khan is seen sporting a rugged and gory, holding a gun in his hand. But the rose caught everyone's attention, seemingly indicating the romance in King. Sharing the poster, the actor wrote in caption, "Aaj phir yaad aaya... Qaatil nahi… Aashiq hoon…"

King Release Date: 

King will release in theatres on December 24, 2026, on Christmas 2026 eve. 

What We Know So Far About King: Plot Hints, Cast, and Crew

Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, the film also stars Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Rani Mukerji, Abhay Verma, Jaideep Ahlawat, Arshad Warsi and Raghav Juyal.

The plot will follow a seasoned underworld don who becomes a mentor and protector to a young woman navigating a dangerous mafia world. 

However, the movie will have to face competition from big Hollywood releases: Dune 3 and Avengers Doomsday, and also Nagarjuna's 100th film, titled King100.
While addressing fans at the special meet and greet session on his 60th birthday, SRK spoke about his character. He said, "People often draw a line between a hero and a villain. But I’ve never believed in that distinction. I’ve played roles like Darr early in my career, a character who, by today’s standards, would be called a villain or a stalker. Then came Don, Anjaam, Baazigar; I was the bad guy in all of them." 
The official plot of King is yet to be revealed and fans are eager for more updates.
