According to early Sacnilk estimates, Jailer 2 has earned around Rs 24.09 crore net in India on its first day. The gross figure stands at Rs 28.43 crore. These numbers come from the afternoon update, so they should go up once the evening and night shows are counted. The film is running across 8,368 shows, with overall occupancy at about 43.7 per cent.

Tamil is carrying the film. The Tamil version has brought in Rs 18.86 crore from 4,722 shows, with occupancy at 57.8 per cent. Telugu is next with Rs 3.94 crore from 1,419 shows and 42.3 per cent occupancy. The Hindi version has made Rs 1.13 crore from 2,169 shows, and the Kannada version has collected Rs 0.16 crore from 58 shows.
