Blast Box Office Collection Day 5: Arjun Sarja’s latest action thriller 'Blast' is emerging as one of the surprise box office successes of 2026. After a modest opening, the Tamil-language entertainer has witnessed remarkable growth driven by strong word-of-mouth and positive audience reception. With increasing occupancy rates, rising show counts, and strong performances across Tamil Nadu and Kerala, 'Blast' is proving that compelling storytelling and action-packed entertainment can deliver impressive commercial results.

According to early estimates by Sacnilk, 'Blast' collected ₹0.59 crore net on Day Five, taking its total India net collection to ₹14.54 crore. The film's worldwide gross currently stands at ₹21.58 crore, while its India gross collection has reached ₹16.73 crore. 

One of the most notable aspects of 'Blast's' performance is its exceptional growth trajectory. The film opened with ₹1.25 crore net on Day One but surged to ₹6 crore net by Sunday. Show counts also increased significantly, highlighting growing demand. Occupancy rates in major centres such as Chennai and Coimbatore nearly doubled during the weekend, signalling powerful audience recommendations and positive buzz.

Blast State-Wise Collection Breakdown

Tamil Nadu remains the film’s strongest market, contributing ₹9.30 crore to the total gross collection. Kerala has also delivered excellent numbers with ₹2.56 crore, while Andhra Pradesh and Telangana contributed ₹2.43 crore. Karnataka added ₹1.60 crore, helping the film establish a solid regional footprint across South India.
