The young Bollywood actress, Sara Arjun turned showstopper for Anushree Reddy’s ‘Maya’ collection at the Lakmē Fashion Week 2026. The actress walked the runway in a beautiful powder-blue gown, featuring intricate white embroidery, a sculpted peplum blouse and a mermaid shaped skirt. This is the first time the actress has ever walked a runway for any designer after her latest hit Dhurandhar. She was looking like a complete dream in Anushree’s designer gown and her appearance made justice to the designer’s vision. Her gown was also a good step away from the red-golden bridal palettes.

The signature looks under the ‘Maya’ collection were crafted while keeping the romantic and expressive spirits of brides. The models walked in beautiful couture pieces from velvet-glow skin dresses to blush pink sarees. Anushree Reddy explored femininity, colour and craft with this collection. About her collection ‘Maya’ designer Anushree Reddy said, “MAYA began with a question I asked myself: what’s next? After more than a decade of building a world I love, I wanted to step back, start from scratch and challenge my own aesthetic. This collection allowed me to explore craft in its most exuberant form while imagining a bride who dreams freely and sees herself in a hundred different ways. MAYA is about that feeling of stepping into an illusion, something familiar, yet completely new.”

The showcase took place at New Delhi's Taj Palace, where models walked the runway to live bridal tracks performed by the Nankhathai band, bringing an Indian wedding-inspired atmosphere to the event.
